About
I am an economist and data scientist. On the academic side, I'm a researcher and educator best known for widely-used teaching materials on econometrics and causal inference, and I've spent years guiding students and faculty through their own projects from study design to final analysis.
In addition, I bring 10+ years of private-sector experience advising and delivering projects across finance and private-markets investing, operations, real estate, and management, as well as serving as an expert in legal cases. That mix means I can move comfortably between deep technical rigor and the practical realities of getting an answer that holds up.

My standard but negotiable rate is $250/hour.
